Medifast product tips
- Have something in the morning - oatmeal, a shake, whatever,
within 20 minutes of getting up. You'll "kickstart" your
metabolism.
- We have our "lean
and green" for dinner - here are some
recipes we enjoy.
- Don't go to bed hungry.
- Water is your friend and ally - honest.
- Beer and wine are out - see the
Medifast FAQ for more info. We have heard of people
having scotch & soda, or Crystal Lite cocktails at social
gatherings. Be aware that alcohol and caffeine hit you
harder while you're in fat burning mode.
- Seriously, make sure you drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.
- Crunch bars rock.
- Soups are a bit "challenging" - spice 'em up (Crackers help
the soup).
- Soy crisps save the day - you get a crunch factor without
the carbs of chips. Celery, radishes...
- Find a low carb, low fat, high protein "cheat" - our coach
has shrimp and low-carb cocktail sauce.
- Pancakes are worth the effort - you will have to experiment
to get them the way you like.
- If you don't happen to like the scrambled eggs, take a look
at EggBeaters.... just sayin'.
- Remember, you can
return product within 30 days if you don't like it.
But, give us a shout, we may know someone willing to swap for
one of your favorites.
- Don't forget about the water.
- Metamucil, fiber psyllium husk, whatever... not everybody,
but it can't hurt (oh yeah, drink lots of water too).
Enough said.
- Hot Cocoa - I hated the stuff until I stopped following
directions. Don't microwave it, unless you really enjoy
lumps. Heat up some water. Dump the powder in a cup. Pour
just enough to wet it into a paste. Stir. Then add water
slowly as you stir. Works awesome.
- Did we mention water?
